How does NAD+ affect HRV and the parasympathetic system?
#1
I’ve been tracking my HRV for about six months now, and I’ve noticed it consistently drops the day after I take my NAD+ booster, even though I feel fine. I thought the supplement was supposed to support my parasympathetic nervous system, so this has me a bit confused.

I started tracking my HRV too, and the day after I took the NAD+ booster the number would dip a little. I felt fine, but the chart looked off and that bugged me more than the drop itself.

I tried changing the timing—morning vs night, with meals, no meals—and the dips showed up irregularly. It felt almost random, so I stopped chasing a pattern.

Do you think maybe the real issue is something else in the day before, like sleep, caffeine, or stress, and the NAD+ is just a trigger you’re noticing?

I kept a week without taking it and saw the numbers settle closer to baseline, which made me wonder if the benefit is worth the fluctuation or if something else is at play.
