How noticeable is the PS5 Pro upgrade for frame rate?

I finally got my hands on a PS5 Pro, but I’m honestly not seeing the huge leap in performance everyone talked about. My old games look a bit sharper, but the frame rate still dips in the same crowded areas, which is pretty disappointing for such a hyped upgrade.

I picked up a PS5 Pro last week too. Textures look crisper, but the frame rate still tanks in crowded streets and busy hubs. I threw on the built‑in performance overlay in one game and saw stutters every few seconds when lots of NPCs loaded.

In one title I flipped to performance mode and turned off RT shadows; we hovered around 60 in some scenes, but big crowds still dragged it down to the 40s. It feels like the engine isn't scaling with the extra power the way people expected.

I also tried dust cleaning and checked the fan; temps stayed reasonable, but the stutters persisted. I even fiddled with the TV settings and turned off motion smoothing; didn't buy me the smoother ride. Maybe I'm chasing the wrong culprit.
