How should i handle charging etiquette at my apartment complex?
#1
I just got my first EV and I'm trying to figure out the best way to handle charging at my apartment complex. They have a few shared Level 2 stations, but I'm worried about etiquette and how often I should move my car once it's done to avoid being that person who hogs the spot all day.

I’ve started treating it like a shared resource. I park, plug in, and when the charge reaches 100% I unplug and move to a non charging spot within about 15 minutes. If there’s a line, I’ll unplug sooner and give the stall up so the next person can start.

One day I forgot to move and someone was waiting with a timer. I felt terrible. Since then I set a reminder on my phone for 10 minutes after it finishes so I don’t drift.

Do you think the real problem is not enough stalls rather than etiquette?

Sometimes I drift off topic and wonder if this is more about building policy than behavior. It’s clear the lines get long at peak times and there’s no formal rotation that everyone buys into.
