Should I buy a weekend pass or just go for a single day at the convention?

I’m trying to decide if I should buy a weekend pass for the big summer convention downtown or just go for a single day. The full pass is a lot more money, and I’m not sure if I’ll actually want to be there for all three days or if I’ll get burned out by the crowds.

I bought the weekend pass a few years ago. By day three I was exhausted from the crowds, but I did catch a couple of talks I wouldn't have seen otherwise.

I sat down with the schedule and mapped out what I actually care about. There were some big overlaps, and I realized I could hit most of my musts in a single day if I plan well.

The money part bugs me too. If you’re not sure you’ll be into it all three days, a day pass feels safer, even if you miss a few things.
