Keeping up with daily celebrity gossip can be overwhelming with so many sources out there. Some are great for quick updates while others provide more in depth coverage. What are your go to sources for daily celebrity gossip and entertainment news today? I'm always looking for reliable places to get the latest celebrity headlines without all the clickbait.

I’m trying to decide if I should get my car’s transmission fluid flushed or just do a drain and refill. The mechanic recommended a full flush, but I’ve heard some older cars can have issues with that process, and mine’s a 2012 with 115,000 miles. I’m worried about dislodging debris and causing more harm than good.

I did a drain and refill on my old car around 110k. It helped a bit, but the transmission still wasn’t perfect. The shop warned me that pushing loose debris into tighter passages can cause leaks.

Last year I had the full service on a different vehicle and afterwards the shifts felt smoother for a couple weeks, then it leveled back. Not sure if it did anything long term.

If you’re at 115k on a 2012, I’d start with drain and refill and see how it behaves. If you don’t see real improvement or you start slipping, revisit with a technician who has a plan for your specific model.

Are you seeing signs like slipping, hard shifts, or overheating?

A friend swore by avoiding that extra service on higher mileage transmissions and instead keeping the fluid changed at normal intervals, but she wasn’t sure about your exact model.

I looked at my fluid—color and smell matter to me—dark fluid that doesn’t smell burnt seemed less alarming, but that’s just my take.
