Should I go into endgame grind or start a new build after the main story?

I just finished the main story of the new RPG and I'm honestly torn on whether to jump into the endgame loop or start a fresh character with a different build. The post-credits stuff seems deep, but I’m worried it might just be a repetitive gear chase that burns me out before the DLC. What did you all do?

I beat the main story and then rolled into the endgame loop for a bit. The loot grind wore on me fast, so I paused after a few sessions and went back to a safe build I understood. It felt less exciting and more draining, which made me worry the DLC might be the same rhythm.

I started a fresh character with a different build and actually enjoyed the early content again. It helped me see the systems with fresh eyes, and I kept it light until I found a pace that didn’t burn me out.

Is the post credits stuff actually meaningful or is it just a long gear treadmill?

I did a quick co-op run with a friend, just to break the loop, and we spent more time chatting than farming. It reminded me that the real problem might be how I measure progress, not the loop itself.
