Should I install a wall unit or use a 240 volt outlet for apartment ev charging?

I just got my first EV and I’m trying to figure out the best way to handle charging at my apartment. My landlord is willing to let me install something, but I’m stuck deciding between a basic 240V outlet or a dedicated wall unit. The cost difference is significant, and I’m not sure if the faster charging speed is worth it for my daily commute.
