Should I keep grinding to outlevel bosses or focus on artifacts in Genshin?

I just hit Adventure Rank 45 in Genshin Impact and my world level went up, but now the open world bosses and domains are wiping my team. I’m not sure if I should just keep grinding to out-level the content or if I really need to stop and properly build my main characters’ artifacts and talents, which feels like it’ll take forever.

I hit AR45 last week and WL jumped. The world bosses started one-shotting my squad until I swapped to artifact farming for my main two carries. It took a few sessions to land decent substats (CRIT Rate, CRIT DMG, ER), and suddenly the bosses weren’t so brutal.

I tried grinding more domains and leveling mats, but it felt slow and endless. I stopped mid-run and started cleaning up my artifacts instead, even if it meant longer to farm.

The scaling is real, but the bigger gap is artifacts, talents, and team comp. If two characters push hard but the rest lag, you still get wiped.

I wandered into a few other map spots and messed around with a different set of artifacts just to test rotations, then I found that a consistent rotation and crit build mattered more than raw WL. Not sure if that's the real fix though.
