Should i keep tactile bump switches or switch to linear for gaming on keyboard?

I’ve been using my new mechanical keyboard for a few weeks now, and I can’t decide if I actually like the tactile bump on these switches or if I just prefer the smoother press of my old linear ones. It feels great for typing, but in fast-paced games, that little bit of feedback sometimes throws off my rhythm for quick double-taps.

I tried the tactile bump for a couple weeks. typing felt crisp and satisfying, but in fast taps I noticed a tiny hiccup in rhythm, like the bump slowed me down for a moment.

On this mechanical keyboard I swapped to a lighter tactile switch and then back again. The difference was small, but in games I still felt the rhythm wobble, so I stuck with the linear for now.

Are we sure the problem is the switch?

Sometimes I think about it at night and drift to another memory of older keyboards, then come back to try again and see if the rhythm settles or not.
