I’m trying to decide if it’s worth getting a professional photo op with the main cast at the upcoming con, but the price is really steep. I’m worried the rushed line experience might feel impersonal and not live up to the cost for just a quick snapshot.

I did one photo op last con. The line moved fast and it felt a bit rushed. The shot was fine as a memory but I wish I had asked for a brief pause.

I skipped it and watched from the side. The vibe in the line felt transactional and the extra money started to sting after a while.

I tried a cheaper group option later with a few cast members and it was loud and chaotic but we ended up with a goofy moment that still makes me smile.

Do you care more about a keepsake or about sharing a real moment with them?
