Should I pay for a pro photo op with a celebrity at the convention?
#1
I’m trying to decide if it’s worth getting a professional photo op with a celebrity guest at the next convention I’m attending. The price is pretty steep, and I’m worried the whole experience will feel rushed and impersonal, leaving me with just a quick printed picture. Has anyone else felt that hesitation before committing?

i tried a photo op at a recent con It felt rushed The crew moved us through fast The print turned out fine but it felt more like a product than a moment

i passed on one at the last con and used the money for a long lunch and a few extra hours exploring The autograph line was slower and friendlier and i still got a memory without the big price tag

i did one and the price did sting My slot was short and the celeb was nice but the whole thing felt like a conveyor belt The memory is in the photo but the vibe was off

could the real issue be that you want a moment with the person not a photo What if you would rather have a chat and a small keepsake rather than a quick shot?
