Should I restart my RPG to explore the other faction quests?
#1
I just finished my first playthrough of the new RPG and I'm already thinking about starting over. I feel like I missed so much of the optional faction content by committing to one path too early. Has anyone else restarted immediately just to explore a different set of quests and see how the other side lives?

I did it right after I beat the final boss. Fresh save, hopped into the other path, and it felt like a completely different game. I almost forgot some side quests existed.

I tried a second run too. It was weird at first, but I let myself miss fewer things and found a lot of small quests the first time I ignored.

I started anew and kept wondering if I was doing the right thing for the other group, but it was cool to see how NPCs react differently when you pick their side.

Do you think the issue is really missing optional content or just the itch for that sense of discovery?

I sprinted through the early hours and burned out, so I paused and dropped one path because the pacing felt off. Still kinda glad I did it.

A friend tried a second playthrough and it didn’t line up with the first game's energy, so they ended up shelving the idea.

I kept circling back to the same worry: am I chasing texture or substance? The new content is there, but it doesn't always click for me.
