Should I switch from push-pull-legs to a full-body workout to break my plateau?

I’ve been doing a basic push-pull-legs split for about a year, but my progress on compound lifts has really stalled. I’m wondering if I should switch to a full-body workout to break through this plateau, since I’d be hitting each muscle group more frequently. I’m just not sure if that’s the right move or if I should just tweak my current routine instead.

I tried a full body block for about six weeks after my compounds stalled. Three full sessions a week with big lifts first then a couple of accessories. The energy felt better but the numbers on my squats and bench barely moved after week two. I ended up back in a push pull legs rhythm with the goal of more total weekly volume.

I kept the push pull legs and tweaked density. Shorter rests, a tiny top end set on squats and a smoother progression pace. Felt like I was chasing PRs forever some weeks I made tiny jumps other weeks nothing.

Maybe you are under eating or not getting enough sleep. I noticed my lifts stalled when I skipped meals before workouts. I fixed meals around training and performance came back a little but not dramatically.

Is it possible the real issue is form or bar path rather than the split? I kept thinking bigger volume would solve it but after checking technique I found small tweaks that helped my triple attempts.
