I’m trying to decide if I should upgrade my mouse to a wireless model, but I’m worried about the sensor lag I keep hearing about. My current wired one is fine, but the cable drag is starting to really annoy me during longer FPS sessions.

I upgraded to wireless last season. No noticeable lag in fast FPS after the first couple of hours, and the best part was finally forgetting about the cord during long sessions.

Battery life was fine in my setup; I kept a spare charged mouse nearby. The tech matters a lot—some budget options feel twitchy, others click reliably once they’re paired.

Honestly, the cord was the bigger annoyance for me—dragging a wire across a mousepad all day wore me down. I tried wireless, it solved the drag but then I ran into battery charges and a few odd disconnects on a crowded desk.

Do you notice any micro pauses when you move quickly during a match, or is it more the physical feel of the cord that bugs you?
