Should I try a stealth archer or mage to avoid a samey RPG run?

I just finished my first playthrough of the new RPG and I'm already itching to start over, but I can't decide on a build. I went pure mage this time, but I keep thinking about how different the faction quests might play out with a stealth archer or a two-handed warrior. I'm worried a second run will feel too samey if I don't commit to a completely different role-playing approach.

I did mage first too and tried a stealth archer on the second run. At first it felt totally fresh—sneaking past patrols, picking off scouts, the whole thing. But the faction quests started nudging me toward the same loyalties, and after a while it felt familiar.

I went with a two handed warrior next. No mana menus, just smash and charge. It was satisfying to change pace, but the quest hooks and endings still lined up with the same big choices. The difference was mostly combat rhythm, not the story.

Do you think maybe the real problem is the quest design, not your build? Like the factions steer you to similar outcomes no matter how you play?

I started a third run anyway, but I’m not sure I’ll commit yet. I kept a tiny log of which faction decisions felt genuinely new and which felt like rehashes, and it wasn’t a clean breakthrough.
