Should i tweak display settings to boost outdoor color on the Galaxy S24?

I just got the Galaxy S24 and I'm already noticing the screen seems a bit dull compared to my old phone, especially when I'm outside. I'm wondering if this is just how the display is calibrated or if there's a setting I'm missing that affects the color vibrancy.

I just got the S24 too and in sun it looks a bit dull. I switched Display mode from Natural to Vivid, turned off Eye Comfort shield, and bumped brightness a notch. It helped a little, but it still isn’t as punchy as my old phone.

My read is Samsung leans toward realistic colors by default, so outdoors it can feel flatter until you enable Vivid or adjust the contrast. Might be normal variation across units, not a defect in your case.

I did a quick side by side with a friend's phone and a few apps and photos looked softer outside. Maybe it's the glass coating or the way outdoor light hits the screen, not just the color setting.

Do you think the issue is really the outdoor glare or the actual color vibrancy? I'm not sure, but indoors it looked fine to me after a couple tweaks.
