Should I upgrade my keyboard to match my 1440p monitor?

I finally upgraded to a 1440p monitor, and now my old keyboard feels completely out of place. The mushy membrane keys just don't match the crisp, responsive feel of the rest of my setup anymore, and it's making my whole gaming experience feel disconnected. I'm wondering if a better keyboard would actually make things feel more cohesive, or if I'm just overthinking it.

I upgraded to a 1440p monitor last year and the keyboard felt off; I swapped to a mechanical with tactile switches and suddenly the feel lined up with the crisp display.

Do you think the problem is really the keyboard, or is it more about habit, desk setup, or sensitivity? Maybe the game pacing changed on the bigger screen.

I tried a mechanical setup and it helped a bit, but it didn't fix the disconnect completely. Maybe it's psychological.

I've also noticed cable management, chair height, and monitor tilt can throw off immersion; sometimes the room lighting makes things look crisper and the keys still feel odd, so I just pause a moment before playing again.
