Should i upgrade the clutch on my Ford Fiesta ST for hard driving?

I just bought a used 2018 Ford Fiesta ST and I'm wondering if the factory clutch is really up to the task for some occasional harder driving. It feels a bit vague and I'm worried it might start slipping if I push it, but I don't know if I'm just being paranoid or if an upgrade is a common necessity for this car.

I’ve got a 2018 Fiesta ST and did a few spirited drives. It felt fine most of the time, the pedal had a solid bite, no slipping yet, and I didn’t abuse it.

A friend of mine had one with about 70k on the clock and said it started slipping when the engine got hot after a long run. We swapped the flywheel and pressure plate, which was a pricey weekend project, and after that it was rock solid again. It wasn’t something I’d expect to fix on a daily driver, but miles like that do catch up.

Maybe I’m overthinking, but the vibe isn’t the issue; could be the tires or suspension making the car feel vague when you push hard.

If it starts slipping under load, take it to a shop for a quick diagnostic; might be wear or something else.
