Should i watch that space horror trailer or skip it because of jump scares?

I just saw the new trailer for that space horror film, and I’m genuinely torn on whether to watch it. The claustrophobic ship setting looks incredibly tense, but I’m worried the actual movie might rely too heavily on cheap jump scares instead of building a sustained dread. Has anyone else gotten that vibe from the preview?

I felt that too. The claustrophobic ship looks tense in footage, but the trailer kept tipping into quick shocks instead of letting the dread breathe. It’s easy to come away worried the film will lean on moments rather than a sustained mood.

I actually watched it twice. The first time I felt the same, the second time I tried to spot quiet buildup, and there wasn’t much. If they stretch out those quiet beats and give the crew real stakes, it could work, but I’m skeptical.

Maybe the real problem isn’t the scares at all but whether you care about the crew. If the people feel disposable, the setting won’t land even if the tension is solid.

Not sure if the trailer is fooling me or if the film will deliver. The setup could be solid, but I keep wondering if isolation is the real driver here or if it’s just a haunted ship vibe. Is isolation the real driver here?
