Should i watch the space horror trailer or wait for the film's vibe to clarify?

I just saw the trailer for that new space horror film, and I'm genuinely torn on whether to watch it. The trailer itself was so intense and claustrophobic, it felt like a full movie, but now I'm worried the actual film won't live up to that feeling. Has anyone else had a trailer completely sell them on a concept, only to get nervous the feature will just dilute that perfect, scary vibe?

Yeah I know that feeling. I watched a space horror trailer and it hit hard, that tight claustrophobic vibe like a magnet. Then the actual movie rolled out slower and more scattered, and a bunch of the scare moments got spread out instead of punchy.

One time I had the opposite happen: the trailer was all quiet setup, and the film slammed me with a couple of tough, scary beats that stuck with me long after.

I guess sometimes the trailer nails the mood and the movie keeps that rhythm, but other times it feels like they used the core scare as a menu item and then served a bigger, less focused meal.

Do you think the problem is the isolation angle, or something else about how the creature is shot in the trailer?
