Should Star Wars or The Lord of the Rings be my top movie trilogy?

I hate food waste but I get tired of eating the same leftovers. What are your most creative recipe ideas for transforming leftovers into something new and exciting?

I'm looking for ways to use up common leftovers like cooked chicken, rice, roasted vegetables, etc. What are your favorite creative recipe ideas that make leftovers feel like a whole new meal? Bonus points for ideas that work with multiple types of leftovers.

I keep trying to settle on my personal ranking for the best movie trilogies, but I get stuck every time on whether the original Star Wars films should be number one or if The Lord of the Rings deserves that spot. It feels like comparing two perfect, but completely different, things.

I keep thinking about how the first two films of that space saga feel like they invented the blockbuster language, but the third changes the scale. For me, the emotional arc matters more than the world-building.

I ranked the fantasy epic higher because of the craft across all three: production design, script, and the actors. But then I replay the space saga and the nostalgia hits me in a different way.

Maybe I'm chasing a single perfect ranking instead of appreciating what each trilogy does differently.

I tried scoreboard metrics, like who has the most rewatch sessions in a month, but then I remember how a single scene can derail a ranking for days.

I wish there was a universal standard. They feel like apples and oranges; both great, yet incomparable.

Do you think the real problem is choosing which trilogy you want to live in on a night you feel hopeful, or is it about the craft behind each film?
