Should we start a weekly pinned thread for popular topics?

I’ve noticed that some of the most interesting discussions in our community seem to get buried after just a day or two. I’m wondering if we could benefit from a weekly pinned thread for popular topics, maybe a rotating theme or a spotlight on a specific type of feedback. It feels like we’re missing out on deeper conversations because things move so fast.

We did a weekly pinned thread last quarter. Rotated the theme and put a spotlight on a different feedback type each week. It did extend the life of discussions a bit; total replies rose, and a handful of folks came back midweek. Not a home run, but it felt healthier than the usual sprint.

I tried something similar and it felt brittle. The pin would surface, but once new posts exploded in other threads the pin got buried, and conversations stalled after day two.

Is the real problem the pace, or is it notification fatigue or topic fragmentation?

I’m curious but cautious. If we keep it small—like a monthly pin or a short pilot—we can learn without clutter and decide what really helps people stay engaged.
