I’ve been trying to get a custom follower mod to work with my existing combat overhaul, but the follower just stands there in fights. I’ve run the mod order through LOOT and checked for patches, but I can’t tell if it’s a scripting conflict or a load order issue I’m missing.
I had a follower that stood still in fights after adding a custom follower with a combat overhaul. After running LOOT and patch checks it still did nothing.
Could be a script not starting on combat tick I thought the same thing when the follower just stood there.
I tried flipping AI flags in the console and testing a simple duel and nothing moved yet.
No error in the log just idle ai running in place which makes you second guess your patch order.
Try a clean save a reload to clear script state and watch if the follower moves then.
I removed other mods that touch followers and combat one by one and nothing changed then put them back in to see what breaks.
Could this be the real problem or is there some other factor I am missing?
