What’s causing stutter in Cyberpunk with a 4070 Super despite dlss on?

I just built a new PC with a 4070 Super, but my frame times in Cyberpunk are all over the place even with DLSS on. The average FPS looks fine in the benchmark, but the stuttering during driving makes it feel way worse than my old card. I’m not sure if it’s a driver issue, a Windows setting, or something else entirely.

Yeah I had that too with my 4070 Super in Cyberpunk. The frame times looked okay in benchmarks but driving around caused ugly micro-stutter. DLSS kept the frame rate steady-ish, but the stutter persisted, like pacing hiccups rather than pure drops.

I tried a few things last weekend: closed a bunch of background processes, set a hard cap near my average FPS, and did a clean driver reinstall. It helped a little but not reliably.

Do you think the problem is the GPU or could the game engine just be mismanaging frame pacing in that city zone? Might be something else entirely.

I also wobbled between settings and updates, reset Windows graphics defaults, re-enabled DLSS, and it felt calmer for a while before it returned after an update. Not confident about the cause, just chasing it.
