What’s the best way to beat the Untouchable achievement without taking damage?

I’m trying to get the “Untouchable” achievement in my survival run, but I keep getting hit by random environmental damage or a stray shot during hectic fights. I’ve managed the no-healing part, but that one unlucky moment ruins everything. How do you consistently avoid all damage for an entire playthrough?

Untouchable can feel real, but I learned it’s less about flashy perfect runs and more about not letting the tiny hits stack. I slowed way down and chose routes where walls block line of sight, so random damage from splash or stray shots mostly misses you. I mapped a few choke points and only engaged when I could predict the attack pattern; it buys you seconds to reposition and avoid unexpected damage. It isn’t glamorous, but it kept the long sessions from ending in one bad tick.

I had days where a stray shot from a wandering skirmish found me right after a big fight. My fix was to pause after every engagement, look around for new threats, and only move when I can see the next corner. I also switched to a loadout that has better shielding even if it slows me down. It helped a little, but I still got clipped every now and then.

Do you think the problem is the last hit or the dozen micro-damages that pile up, and have you tried logging your damage per encounter to spot which moment is breaking the run?

Something else that helped me for a bit was chasing safety tricks that felt off topic at first, like using a specific terrain feature or downtime to reset, then I realized it wasn’t about one trick but how often I reset mental state between fights. I still die, but the pattern is sometimes predictable enough to dodge twice more.
