What’s the difference between a Foley artist and a sound designer on a project?

I love the idea of one-pot recipes for easy cleanup, but sometimes they end up tasting like everything cooked together in a bland mush. What are your favorite one-pot recipes that actually have great flavor and texture?

I'm looking for recipes where everything cooks together properly and the flavors meld well. What are your go-to one-pot recipes that you make regularly? Bonus points if they're also quick dinner recipes for busy nights.

I’m trying to understand the specific role of a Foley artist on a recent project I worked on, but I’m confused about where their work ends and the sound designer’s begins. On our set, the Foley team was creating all these detailed prop sounds in their studio, like footsteps and cloth movement, while the sound designer was building the larger environmental layers. The line between them felt really blurry during the final mix.
