What’s the villain’s motivation in this superhero trailer?

We see all these chef tips on cooking shows, but which ones actually translate well to a home kitchen? What professional chef tips have you incorporated that made a real difference in your cooking?

I'm looking for practical advice about techniques, organization, flavor building, etc. What chef tips have become essential parts of your cooking routine? Things that sound fancy but are actually quite doable at home.

I just watched the new trailer for the next big superhero movie, and I’m honestly a bit confused about the main villain’s motivation. They keep hinting at some past tragedy, but the editing is so frantic it’s hard to grasp what they’re actually trying to accomplish beyond the usual world-ending scheme. Does anyone else feel like the marketing is being deliberately vague to the point of being frustrating?

Yeah, the edits are racing past the why. It feels like they keep hinting at a past tragedy but skip the steps to why the villain wants to do anything this time.

I paused at a couple of frames where the villain looks haunted, scribbled a quick note that maybe it's about betrayal and a broken vow, but it could be misread.

In my experience marketing loves a ticking clock and a big reveal, so they show chaos but withhold the actual plan.

I watched it with a friend who works in trailers; they said the goal is to signal scale first, details later, so people come back for a second trailer.

I tried to map the timeline of the villain's actions in the snippets and nothing clicks cleanly; it's all jumbled.

Do you think the problem is the marketing framing rather than the villain's motive?

I'm still unsure if it's about a personal vendetta or a social commentary, and I keep flipping between theories.
