What am i missing about the gravity well in this gravity puzzle?

I keep hitting a wall in this puzzle platformer where you manipulate gravity, and I'm starting to wonder if I'm just missing a core mechanic. The solution feels like it should involve the specific gravity well object, but everything I try just resets the room.

I spent a lot of time with the gravity well, trying to ride its pull toward the exit. Every time I got close to the goal, the room just reset and I started over.

I tried flinging myself using the well to gap jump, but the hitbox never lined up with the next platform. It felt like momentum was the enemy and the resets kept winning.

Could the real issue be that the gravity well only affects you and not the crates or switches, so I’m chasing a mechanic that isn’t wired to the right thing?

I did one small test: step back, wait for gravity to settle, then push a slow arc through a tight corridor. It barely budged the path before a reset hit again.
