What board game history podcast nails a casual, story-driven vibe?

I’ve been trying to find a good podcast about the history of board games, but everything I find is either a dry lecture or just reviews of new releases. I really want something that digs into the stories behind specific classic games, but that still has a casual, conversational feel to it. Has anyone come across a show that strikes that balance?

I did stumble on something that came close to what you want the vibe is casual and they actually look at how a classic board game got started and who pushed it along not just the rules

I tried several history forward episodes and some felt like lectures but a few designer stories in between kept me listening when they focused on a single game the vibe clicked

I remember one episode that traced a famous board games history from card roots to a shelf staple and the behind the scenes stuff felt fresh rather than snippy

It left me wondering if the problem is the format or my taste maybe I just want a show that leans more narrative and less analysis and yes that matters to me
