I’ve been trying to build a consistent audience for my educational art videos, but my growth has completely stalled. I’m putting in the hours on content and community interaction, yet I can’t seem to get past this plateau no matter what I try.

I hear you. I spent months chasing growth on educational art videos and felt like I was shouting into a void. The plateau hit hard until I started tracking which clips held people to the end and which ones sparked comments. The patterns were messy, but it helped me stop assuming the problem was talent and admit maybe timing and trust mattered more.

I kept a simple log of watch time and comments and tried small tweaks. A couple of videos with a bold thumbnail and a sharper promise in the first line got a few more saves, but the uplift faded fast.

I keep wondering if the real bottleneck is not the content but the audience path. People watch once and leave, not coming back. I tried commenting more and asking for a follow, but it felt awkward and the numbers didn't lie.

One time I drifted to a side project and forgot to post for a week. When I came back, there were a few new subs, which felt like a tiny win, but it wasn’t a game changer.

Do you think the problem is the niche being saturated or something about how the videos frame a promise to the viewer?

Sometimes I rush to post and miss a cohesive hook. Other times I finish a video and feel relieved but the engagement isn't there. It's a messy feel.

Maybe collaboration will help but I haven't found the right partner yet.
