What can I do when I can't finish a Marvel Snap combo on the final turn?

I’ve been playing a lot of Marvel Snap lately, and I keep running into the same problem where I have a great combo lined up but I just don’t have the energy to play it on the final turn. It feels like I’m always just one point short of pulling off my plan. Has anyone else had this happen, where your curve just doesn’t work out by the end?

Yep, that happens to me all the time. I’ll have a clean midgame setup and then on turn 6 I’m staring at a bare handful and can’t drop the big finisher.

I started packing a few cheaper finishes so I’m not just hoping the 6 drop aligns. It helps when the last turn feels awkward.

One time I miscounted energy in the heat of the moment and ended up playing a 3-cost instead of the 5-cost I wanted. Felt terrible.

Sometimes I think the problem isn’t the curve but the draws. You can set up beautifully and still get the wrong card last pick.

I’ve tried keeping two different tempo lines in mind. If the top combo isn’t coming, I switch to the second plan and at least get something on board.

A few matches I leaned into tempo and sacrificed a little power on the left, and it paid off a couple times, but not always.

Do you think the real blocker is the turn count or the card RNG itself?
