What changed in crafting materials after the patch rebalance?
#1
I just downloaded the latest patch for the game, and I’m a bit confused about the new crafting material requirements. The patch notes mentioned a rebalance, but now my usual upgrade path for mid-tier gear seems completely broken. Has anyone else found that the components they’ve been stockpiling are suddenly useless for the next tier?

Yep, I’ve been stockpiling mid‑tier parts for ages and now the upgrade chain seems to ignore them. I tried upgrading a piece I’ve upgraded a bunch of times and the game asked for completely different components.

I opened the crafting window after the patch and compared before/after mats. The same upgrade now needs a different set, and my old stash sits there useless.

Could be a bug, or maybe the patch really did rebalance the tier costs. Either way it feels inconsistent.

I decided to switch gears and farm the new mats instead of relying on the old ones. The drop rate seems slower, so I’m not sure it’s worth chasing the old stock.

I actually kept a quick log last night: time spent per upgrade doubled and mats used went up by about half; that’s not sustainable.

Do you think the problem is the actual material change or the UI nudging people toward a different upgrade path?
