What could a tiny clear bubble on the white of my eye mean?

I’ve been noticing a persistent, tiny, clear bubble on the white of my eye for a couple weeks now. It doesn’t hurt or affect my vision, but it hasn’t gone away and I’m starting to wonder if this is something I should get checked.

I had something similar a while back. tiny clear bump on the white of my eye that stuck around for a couple weeks. It didn’t hurt and my vision stayed fine, but I kept checking in the mirror. I tried lubrication drops a few times a day and gave it time, and it slowly faded after about two or three weeks. It wasn’t red or inflamed at all, so I didn’t rush to the clinic, but it did feel weird to ignore.

If it’s been there this long I’d probably get it checked, even if you don’t feel pain. I’d book with an optometrist or your GP to get it looked at, especially since it hasn’t gone away. In the meantime I’d avoid rubbing the eye or wearing contacts and keep an eye on any changes like redness or discharge.

Maybe it’s nothing, but I keep wondering if we’re looking at the real issue. Could be a tiny surface cyst or something else that’s not serious, or it could be something that’s easily fixed once someone looks at it. I’m not confident enough to tell.

If it’s still there in a week or two, I’d want a quick check with a professional. A brief eye exam can clear it up without a big hassle, and that’s where I’d prefer to be.
