What could cause a weak urine stream and should I talk to a doctor?

I’ve been noticing a weaker stream for a few months now, and it’s starting to worry me. It just doesn’t feel like it used to, and sometimes it takes a bit longer to get started. I’m not sure if this is just a normal part of getting older or if it’s something I should actually talk to a doctor about.

That sounds unsettling. I had something similar and it was hard to tell if it was aging or something to worry about. I tried not to panic but I did look for patterns and talked to someone when it lingered.

I actually kept a small log for a couple of weeks, noting days and how long it took to start. It showed variability but not a clear trend, which was oddly reassuring.

Could be lots of small things like hydration, caffeine, or meds. It is easy to assume age when the body feels off, but sometimes it signals something else.

Do you think it could be something else going on like dehydration or meds, and the stream is just a symptom?
