What could cause persistent lower right abdominal pain?
#1
I’ve been having this strange, persistent ache in my lower right abdomen for about two weeks now. It’s not the sharp pain I’ve heard about with appendicitis, but more of a constant, dull pressure that sometimes feels like a deep cramp. I’m not sure if I should be concerned or if it’s just something muscular.

That happened to me once. It was a dull ache on the right side that stuck around after a workout. I tried a heat pad, a little easy stretching, and more water, and it faded after a few days but came back if I overdid things. I booked a quick check when it lingered past a week.

Two weeks is long enough to be wary, honestly. Could be gas or a muscle issue, but it could also be something like a kidney issue or, in rare cases, appendicitis if other signs show up. If you have fever, vomiting, or the pain suddenly worsens, go to urgent care or the ER. If not, try to get a same‑day appointment to be safe.

Have you noticed fever, vomiting, or changes in bowel habits or urination?

I once got sidetracked trying a new pillow setup and wound up with a dull ache that stuck around for a while, which made me realize posture and tension can mess with the gut area. Not decisive, just a reminder that small things can stack up. If it’s still there in a couple days, it might be worth a check to rule things out.
