What could cause persistent upper right abdominal pain when scans are clear?

It seems like there are always a few trending anime that everyone's talking about each season. I try to check out the trending anime to see what all the buzz is about, even if it's not normally my preferred genre.

Right now there are a couple of trending anime that have really captured people's attention. What trending anime are you currently watching or considering watching? Do you find that trending anime usually live up to the hype?

I’ve been dealing with this persistent, dull ache in my upper right abdomen for a few months now. My doctor mentioned it could be related to my gallbladder, but the ultrasound came back clear. I’m just wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience where the pain is real but the scans don’t show a clear cause.

I had something similar last year. A dull ache under the right ribs where the gallbladder sits. Ultrasound was clear, and the doctor said it could be gas or muscle. It lingered for months, and meals or big workouts would sometimes set it off even though imaging looked fine.

For me the pattern pointed more toward reflux or gastritis than anything gallbladder related. Tests were clean, meds helped a bit, and the pain pattern shifted but didn’t disappear.

I kept a pain diary: time of day, meals, activity. It didn’t give me a neat fix, but it let me tell the doctor when it was worst and what seemed to trigger it.

Sometimes it felt like muscle or rib inflammation from sleeping funny. A warm compress and gentle stretching would ease it for a day or two.

Do you think the real problem could be something not tested yet, like referred pain from back or nerves?

I tried a second GI opinion and nothing definitive showed up. I started cutting out obvious trigger foods and watched stress levels, and the pattern shifted a bit, but there’s no real closure.
