What could cause transient monocular gray vision with migraine aura?
#1
I’ve been getting these strange episodes where my vision in one eye goes gray and blurry for about twenty minutes, followed by a throbbing headache on that same side. My doctor mentioned it could be related to migraine aura, but I’m worried it might be something more serious affecting my optic nerve or visual cortex. Has anyone else experienced this specific pattern?

I've had something like that too a while back a gray patch in one eye that blurred for a bit and then a pounding headache on that side it felt like the world dimmed for a moment before the ache started

I started keeping a simple log of when it happened what I ate how I slept and how long the blur lasted It kept repeating in a rough pattern with headaches later For a while I told myself it was just stress but I still watched it closely

Did you get an eye exam yet They checked retina and optic nerve and said nothing urgent showed up?

Sometimes I wonder if the pattern could be influenced by lighting or screen time I shifted to warmer lighting and took breaks and the episodes persisted which made me doubt the trigger theory
