What could lower right abdominal pain after meals indicate about my appendix?
#1
For the last few weeks, I’ve had this persistent, dull ache in my lower right abdomen. It’s not sharp, but it’s always there, and it seems to get a bit worse after I eat. I’m wondering if this could be related to my appendix, but I don’t have a fever or any nausea.

I’ve had a similar dull ache that wouldn’t quit. It wasn’t dangerous, but it lasted weeks and I ended up at urgent care just to be sure. After meals it did feel a bit worse, which made me think about the gut more than anything.

I tried cutting out spicy foods and dairy for a couple of weeks, and I noticed the pain calm down a little, but it kept coming back after big meals. Not a clean fix, just something I tested.

I’d be cautious about appendicitis, but from what you describe it doesn’t scream that. Usually there’s a fever, nausea, or a sudden sharp pain, but not always. Either way, a quick check with a clinician seems reasonable since it’s been weeks.

Do you know if anyone has suggested imaging or basic labs yet?
