What could this elbow patch be, psoriasis or something else?

One of my favorite parts of being in anime communities is reading all the creative anime theories people come up with. Some anime theories are so well thought out that they almost seem like they could be true.

I've seen some really interesting anime theories about plot points that haven't been resolved yet. What anime theories have you found particularly compelling or creative? Do you enjoy coming up with anime theories yourself?

I’ve had this persistent, scaly patch on my elbow for months that just won’t go away with regular moisturizer. It’s not really itchy, but the texture bothers me, and I’m wondering if it could be a form of psoriasis.

That could be psoriasis or something similar, not a diagnosis from here. I had a patch on my elbow that stayed scaly for months and didn't improve with regular moisturizer. It was more texture than itch, and it was frustrating because nothing seemed to help.

I kept hoping it would shed away, but it didn't. I tried a few over the counter creams and then a thicker ointment, and still no lasting change.

Eventually I did a telederm visit and the doctor suggested watching for changes and possibly patch testing if it stuck around longer.

Sometimes I wondered if it was contact dermatitis from soap or detergent, so I switched a lot of products and kept notes about when it flared up.

I also thought about a fungal patch since those can look dry and scaly, and I did try an antifungal cream once just to test if that helped.

Honestly I dont know, maybe its just dry skin that never caught up with the moisture routine, but the texture stayed.

Do you think this is the real problem or could it be something else entirely?
