What do you think about a full remake of the Harry Potter films?

I just saw the trailer for the new Harry Potter series and I’m already feeling conflicted. The movies are so iconic for my generation that I can't decide if a full, detailed remake is something I even want, or if it will just feel unnecessary no matter how faithful it is.
