What do you think about the combat feel in the leaked open-world RPG?

I just saw that leaked gameplay snippet for the new open-world RPG, and the combat looks so floaty and weightless. It’s got me worried the whole feel of fighting will be unsatisfying, like you’re just swinging at air. Has anyone else who’s been following the clips gotten that impression, or is it just the early build?

I watched the leaked clip yesterday and the combat just looked floaty to me too. Moves felt like swords gliding through air rather than landing with weight.

In the open world RPGs I’ve spent time with during early access, that weightless feel is pretty common before tuning and feedback lands.

A buddy of mine saw something similar in a pre-release build and after they added camera shake and a little hit feel, combat suddenly felt more substantial.

I did a quick in-game test last night, charged a heavy attack and the enemy barely moved; it didn’t feel satisfying.
