What do you think about the visual echo of the key and symbol in the scene?

I just rewatched the scene where the character finds the old key in the library, and I swear the book it was tucked into has the same symbol as the one on the mayor’s office door. It feels like a deliberate clue about his secret lineage, but I can’t tell if I’m just connecting dots that aren’t there. Has anyone else noticed this specific visual echo?

I noticed it too. The book’s cover symbol flashed in a way that echoed the mayor’s office door emblem, and it did feel like a breadcrumb toward a secret lineage.

I paused the scene, zoomed the frame, and the symbol looked like a simple geometric mark—maybe a decorative motif rather than a real clue.

Could be a red herring. The show loves echoing motifs, and a lot of those connections never pan out.

Not sure if the problem is the symbol or the pacing; maybe the scene is about atmosphere and memory, and the lineage thread is supposed to be teased but not nailed.
