What do you think of the Project Chimera leak and its floaty movement?

I just saw the leaked gameplay snippet for Project Chimera and I’m honestly a bit worried. The movement looks so floaty compared to the tight controls they were promising, and that’s a real dealbreaker for me in a fast-paced shooter. Has anyone else who’s been following the leaks felt the same way, or did it look different to you?

I watched the clip and yeah, the movement felt floaty. In fast shooters I’ve played, that tiny vertical bob and the way it brakes can wreck the rhythm in a heartbeat.

I keep hearing some folks say it looked fine, but I’m seeing more of the same from people who actually care about the feel. Could be an early build, could be a mis-timed frame, who knows. I’m not ready to write it off yet, just surprised.

Is it possible the problem isn’t the floatiness but how the input reaction and camera smoothing are paired in that clip?

I dabbled with an internal test a couple weeks back and the movement there was snappier, but the weapon recoil and sprint tilt felt off. It stuck with me that a few changes could flip the whole vibe, or maybe it’s not the issue at all and I’m chasing shadows.
