What does a retroverted uterus mean for pain during intercourse?

I’ve been told I have a retroverted uterus after my last pelvic exam. My doctor said it’s normal, but I’m experiencing a deep, dull ache during intercourse that I never had before. I’m just wondering if others with this same anatomy have felt something similar.

I have a retroverted uterus too and I started noticing a dull ache during sex after a stressful week. It felt tied to how relaxed I was and whether I had enough lubrication.

I tried different positions and went slower. A little extra foreplay and more lube helped some days but not all and I still worry it could be something else.

Sometimes I wonder if the pain is from muscles in the pelvis or stress rather than the uterus. I have not pushed for more tests yet and I am not sure what would change that.
