What does the Project Chimera leak mean for movement and responsiveness?

I just saw that leaked gameplay snippet for Project Chimera and the movement looked so floaty and disconnected. It’s got me worried the final game might feel unresponsive, which would ruin the whole tactical shooter vibe they're going for. Has anyone else who’s been following the leaks gotten that impression, or did it just look off because it was an early build?

Yeah, I saw that clip too. It looked floaty as if the feet never quite locked when you moved around corners.

Early builds always feel off like that, I’ve seen it in other games where the blends aren’t tuned yet.

I did a quick compare with another demo from a couple months ago, movement was chunky there, so I’m leaning toward it being an animation pass that’s not done.

The gunplay seemed solid, but the way you slide into cover or snap to an angle was the part that felt off to me.

I wonder if the clip was affected by latency or streaming; even a couple frames of delay can make it feel disconnected.

If the final game ends up with good hit feedback and tight sprinting, the floatiness might not ruin the vibe, but it’s not reassuring.

Do you think this is the real problem or are we reading too much into a tiny slice?
