What does the space horror trailer reveal beyond the jump scares?

I just saw the trailer for that new space horror movie and I’m genuinely torn. The atmosphere looks incredible, but the quick cuts made it seem like they showed every single jump scare. I can’t tell if I’ve already seen the best parts or if there’s a deeper story they’re hiding.

I saw it twice, the mood is there—the dim lights, the engine hum, that slow dread. But those quick cuts feel like they’re forcing scares, not inviting you to stay with the crew.

I tried pausing at every cut and it still felt like the trailer shuffled the same handful of jumpscares. Maybe there’s a quieter story underneath, but the edit isn’t letting me find it.

I talked with a friend who watched the promo reel and they mentioned the space isolation angle being teased, but I’m skeptical the full film will ride that through.

Maybe the trailer’s cold blue palette is doing a lot of the heavy lifting, and I’m not sure the story will live up to that mood. Is that the real problem, or is the movie the real problem?
