What does the wrong briefcase color clue mean, production error or hidden hint?
#1
I just rewatched the scene where the character picks up the wrong briefcase, and I’m convinced the color of the lining is a deliberate clue. It seems like a production error, but what if it’s actually a subtle hint that the two cases were switched earlier than we think? I can’t find anyone talking about this specific detail.

I watched it again and the lining color felt more like a red herring than a clue. It could be a production quirk, but I can't shake the idea that the switch angle might be intentional.

I paused on a couple of frames and noticed the tint shifts a bit in different takes. Lighting or the fabric dye could explain it, not a hidden message.

I looked for maker notes or a commentary that mentions this moment but found nothing. I did a quick skim of fan forums and no one seemed to point at this detail. Still curious.

Could the real issue be how the scene is paced or how the actors deliver the lines rather than any color of a lining?
