What if the bookshelf color pattern is an easter egg or a coincidence?

I was rewatching the finale and I’m stuck on the final shot of the protagonist’s office. The books on his shelf seem to be arranged in a very specific color pattern that exactly matches the album cover of the band the show’s composer was in during the 90s. Has anyone else noticed this possible musical nod? I can’t tell if it’s a deliberate easter egg or if I’m just seeing connections that aren’t there.

I rewound and paused on that shelf too. Those color blocks pop, and I swear they mirrored a 90s album cover the composer was in. It felt like a nod, even if it’s probably just color theory at work.

Maybe coincidence or maybe a designer’s private joke. Production teams love chasing a tight color palette; it wouldn’t be unusual for a little homage to sneak in.

I tried to double check online, but I couldn’t find any credits tying the shelf to the band. The vibe stuck with me though, and now I’m looking for it everywhere.

Do you think maybe the real issue is that we’re reading too much into it and the shelf is just random props lit in a way that makes certain colors pop?
