What makes viral heartwarming videos feel staged?
#1
Has anyone else noticed how every single "heartwarming" video that goes viral now seems to be a setup? I just watched one where a guy "randomly" pays for a struggling family's groceries, but the camera angles were way too perfect and the reactions felt completely staged. It makes me wonder if we're just consuming manufactured content instead of real moments.

Yeah, I’ve started noticing the same pattern. The setup is too neat, and the reactions feel scripted.

I watched a few and tried to rewind to see if the moments before the payoff lined up with music drops or the camera cuts. They did.

I told a friend I’m wary of the 'random acts' now and we laughed at how often a stranger seems to miraculously appear with a perfect moment.

Do you think the issue is the algorithm steering these clips or something deeper in how we define real moments online?
