What power management settings help battery life on the Razer Blade 18?

I just got the new Razer Blade 18 and I’m honestly a bit stumped by its power management. The battery drains so fast when I’m just doing basic coding, even on the balanced profile, and I can’t tell if it’s a Windows setting or something in Synapse throttling incorrectly. Has anyone else run into this with their new gaming laptop?

I’ve been there with my Blade 18 too. On balanced while doing light coding the battery drops fast, and I was lucky to get around 3–4 hours. It didn’t feel like a charging issue so much as the system staying in a higher power state.

I poked around Synapse and the lighting. A simple profile and turning off extra RGB helped a bit, but it wasn’t consistent. Some days it felt normal, other days it still drained quickly while I wasn’t gaming.

Have you checked Windows power settings on battery and plugged in? The default may push it toward a performance profile when unplugged, and a stray background task could chase power too.

I started to drift into other things like brightness levels and background indexing, just to see if something else was stealing juice. Lower brightness helped me a touch, but nothing fixed the core issue, and I kept bouncing between theories.
